April Ross

April Ross is one of only a few female beach volleyball players to have medals won at multiple Olympics. In Tokyo over the next several days she will attempt to net her third medal alongside fellow first-time Olympian Alix Klineman. Ross's goal is to win her first Olympic Gold. In fact, at 39, this could be her final chance to accomplish this. She is nevertheless confident that top honours are at hand. If we can perform to our highest and even perform very well, I think we'll win the gold medal Ross said via NBC Boston. Additionally, I'm going attempt to get lucky. Ross was born on August 22nd, 1982 on the outskirts of Costa Mesa California. She was raised there by her parents. She was able to participate in many sports at Newport Harbor High School. In addition to the indoor game, she played basketball and ran track while a pre-professional athlete. In the last sport she was clearly the standout. Based on her biography, she was an outside blocker as well as a middle hitter on the court of volleyball during her senior year of high school. Her efforts were recognized by her selection as the 1999 Gatorade Circle of Champions National Players of the Year. In 2000, she was awarded her the Orange County Athlete of the year award for volleyball. Ross Klineman and Ross began their relationship in 2017 but Ross had been a major participant on the beach for quite a while before. In fact, she's played a significant role in the world of beach volleyball for a long time. In fact, Ross has won numerous tournaments, one of which was one with an iconic volleyball legend. From 2007 to 2013, she was working by Jennifer Kessy, who is the coach she is currently. Together with Kessy, Ross won the World Championship in 2009 while competing in the international circuit. The duo were awarded silver medals at the London Olympics. They were knocked out of the gold medal by the storied team consisting of Misty June-Treanor and Kerri Walsh (Jennings). Ross Walsh was Walsh Jennings new partner after May-Treanor's resignation. They took home the bronze medal at the beach volleyball competition in the Rio Olympics in 2016. Ross was a student athlete with the Trojans of USC prior to her pro career. She starred during high school, and even years prior to hitting the beach as a professional. Ross's playing time with the Trojans was stellar. As a freshman in 2000 she earned Pac-10 and NCAA Freshman of the Year awards and was an All-American. She also helped the Trojans advance to into the Final Four. During her sophomore year she experienced a devastating personal tragedy, yet managed to make it back as an All-American. After two more seasons as a member of the Trojans she was instrumental in helping them to win two consecutive titles. In her own way, she had established herself as an all-time legend winning the 2003-04 Honda Sports Award as the nation's top female collegiate volleyball player. Ross took a course in the study of international relations in USC. However, Ross mom Margie did not get to see her daughter rise to the very top of beach volleyball superstardom. When Ross was in her sophomore year on the campus of USC her mother passed away due to breast cancer. She still cherishes her parents who passed away. In addition, Margie has always been an encouragement for her at the beach and in the world of.
