Rubi Rose

Rubi Rose Benton was born on 2 October, 1997 in Lexington, Kentucky, where she was also raised by Nardos Ghebrelul, her mother, an Eritrean dentist immigrant from Ethiopia, and John Benton, her father who is a lawyer of Japanese, African American and European descent. Her father was an adoptive child. She has an older sister who is named Scarlette and a younger sister named Coral. 2 As a young child, she was baptized as an Orthodox Christian. (better source required) She spent one year in Geneva. When she was in her senior year in high school, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia and ran track. She was a student of politics at Georgia State University. She was awed by Marvin Gaye's music, as well as the music of Biggie, Prince, Michael Jackson and Chaka Khan. She's been influenced by Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, and Foxy Brown. Rose was the first person to be recognized as the main model in the Migos music video for "Bad and Boujee" the hip-hop group. Rose first appeared on Twitch streams alongside DJ Akademiks who is a Jamaican-born East Coast Hip Hop commentator. Rose began her career as a musician in September of 2018, after she remixed "On Top" the hit song from Playboi Cari. Her single "Big Mouth" has gained her attention in the year 2019, and she continued to do very well in the year 2019. Rose was a guest in American rapper Cardi B's music video for her track "WAP", which was released on August 7 in 2020. A&R Chris Turner signed her to the record label of LA Reid Hitco Entertainment in 2019. Rubi is famous for her high-profile relationships. Rubi has been with Travis Scott, Ian Connor and Soulja Boy.
